The Sacrament of Baptism 

Our new members are always welcome in St Josephs whether they be infants youth or elderly we have Baptism Programmes to suit.  

Infant Baptisms are normally held on the last Sunday of the month.   We have three teams who look after infant Baptisms.  These Catechists prepare the parents and Godparents over a two week period prior to the Baptism on the Sunday.  

We also have a team who prepare older children for Baptism.

St Josephs combines with the parishes of Sacred Heart and St Albans in running a RCIA programme.  Any parent requiring Baptism for their child or making enquiries regarding Baptism must see Father Richard or one of the Deacons and obtain an application form.  This form should then be completed and handed into the Parish administrator who will then give the time of Baptism, date and details of the course.
